I.About BiUH

Hainan Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences (BiUH) is an innovative, high-performance and international university of applied sciences in Danzhou, Hainan, China. II.Call for Applications

The Faculty at Hainan Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences invites applications for the positions of 2 Executive Assistants to BiUH President and BiUH Provost of Administration. The detail position description is as follows:

①Job Location

At the beginning, the new campus is temporarily in Hainan Li’an International Education Innovation Pilot Zone, Lingshui, Hainan, China.

The final campus will be in Yangpu Economic Development Zone, Danzhou, Hainan, China.


②Responsibilities and Requirements

·Responsibilities

1)Manage the President’s Office and provides administrative support for the Board of Trustees (Board), and Workforce Development and Corporate Partnerships

2)Maintains standards of confidentiality in accordance with the BiUH, student records, and other protected documentation

3)Collects data, analyzes, and prepares reports

4)Develops presentations and correspondence for internal and external audiences

5)Maintains the President’s calendar and communications, and represents at some meetings and events

6)Build positive relationships with the employees, students and external partner

7)Conduct meetings and office operations when the President is not available

8)Manage information, conduct research, coordinate assessment, and maintain compliance and report for grants, accreditations, and the BiUH policies and procedures

9)Support the President’s advancement and fundraising by documenting contacts, agreements, and gifts in the constituent management database

10)Coordinate the President’s communications, social media, calendar, and community engagement activities

11)Provide excellent public relations and communication skills (written and verbal), specifically interpretation in German, English and Chinese - or translation of selected documents

12)Exhibit flexibility, a strong work ethic and willingness to learn and assume additional duties

13)Cope with stressful circumstances and cordially interact with people to accomplish tasks

·Requirements:

1)Minimum of a Master Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or other relevant field

2)Minimum of three years of executive administrative experiences

3)Fluent in spoken and written English, German, Chinese

4)Certified Administrative Professional preferred

5)Experience in the higher education advancement or marketing preferred
