The Faculty at Hainan Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences invites applications for the positions of 1 Human Resources Specialist. The detail position description is as follows:
①Job Location
At the beginning, the new campus is temporarily in Hainan Li’an International Education Innovation Pilot Zone, Lingshui, Hainan, China.
The final campus will be in Yangpu Economic Development Zone, Danzhou, Hainan, China.
②Responsibilities and Requirements
·Responsibilities
1)Develop the recruitment plans, communication between the Chinese and German sides
2)Organize the recruitment process
3)Knowledge of Chinese labour and contract law, etc.
4)Know Chinese social welfare system
5)Manage all aspects of new onboarding & orientation for employees globally
6)Work with managers/professors in the solution of employee relations problems, recommending action as required
7)Be the liaison for the professors and support their life in Hainan
8)Work closely with the people leadership team to consistently seeking to standardize, centralize and automate HR processes across the entire university
9)Focus on identifying, standardizing, centralizing, and automating HR tasks throughout the organization
10)Ensure compliance with payroll and benefits processes and procedures
11)Takes ownership of all assigned tasks, initiatives, inquiries, and escalations within the Global HR Shared Services functional area(s) of specialization and makes sure that they are resolved and completed efficiently and with a superior level of quality
12)Ensure compliance, quality, efficiency and accuracy of information, data and HR system reporting
13)Assists with preparation and compliance for internal and external audits as required
14)Assists training sessions with the HR community on related topics
15)Provides HR assistance for employee situations such as benefits, payroll, etc.
16)Responds to questions and concerns from employees globally
·Requirements:
1)Master’s degree in business administration, human resources or relevant field
2)At least 2-3 years' working experience in Human Resources
3)Positive and helpful attitude towards employees
4)Discreet, professional attitude while handling sensitive information
5)Proficiency in Outlook, Excel and Word
6)Adaptable and motivated to learn
7)Diplomatic problem solver and results-driven
8)Written and verbal communication skills
9)Ability to work independently and with a team
10)Ability to multi-task
11)Fluent in spoken and written English
12)Working experience at university is a plus
13)Fluent German is a plus
