Position Requirements ·To be successful in the Academic Coordinator position, an individual must be committed to developing, maintaining and demonstrating the following: Competencies: ·Excellent spoken and written and communications skills in both Chinese and English ·A high level of knowledge and superior competence and currency in using MS Office applications at an advanced level ·Proficiency in Student Learning Platforms ·Administrative experience in a post-secondary educational setting ·A strong, service-oriented focus ·Establishes and maintains effective working relationships ·Experience handling sensitive and confidential information in a tactful and discretionary way ·Strong critical thinking and problem solving ability ·Ability to work independently and accurately within strict deadlines ·Demonstrates ability to multi-task and change priorities while maintaining a high level of service ·A positive attitude and friendly approach
Education and Experience: ·Master’s degree; ·Leadership, management and supervisory experience required; ·Knowledge and experience in a post-secondary educational environment an asset; ·Project management knowledge or experience an asset.
