岗位职责
RESPONSIBILITIESWe are looking for future colleagues who can：1. conduct high-quality research, as shown by publications in leading journals,2. actively attract internal and external research funding,3. supervise PhD students and undergraduate students,4. teach undergraduate and postgraduate students,5. provide administrative service to the department and university committees,6. teach in the areas of chemistry in line with our programme.

CITIZENSHIP AND VISA REGULATIONS
Employment at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University is regulated by Chinese Labour Laws, and must comply with the regulations of the provincial government. These regulations stipulate who is eligible for legal employment with regard to obtaining work permits and visas. Please be advised candidates over 65 may be not eligible for a work visa in the P.R. China.

Preference will be given to applicants who have shown outstanding promise in research and teaching. It is important to note that a successful applicant must be able to teach in English as XJTLU’s working and instructional language is English.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
1.A PhD degree in Chemistry.
2.Two years of postdoctoral experience and preferably a demonstrable teaching experience.
3.Ability to teach in an area in line with our programme.
